Ulster University: Careers service CPD programme

This programme was designed to underpin an overall cultural change within the service for team members to become ‘brave, informed, innovative and confident’. It covered a range of leadership development themes such as building a high trust team and mindset in a VUCA world as well as more core employability elements such as using technology to support students, innovative student engagement and building institutional influence.

For each of these sessions we provided pre-learning, resources and questions for the team to consider which were then be explored and developed in an interactive 2-hour webinar.

A group of people gathered around a whiteboard in a modern office or conference room, engaging in a discussion or brainstorming session. There are tables and chairs visible in the room, and large windows letting in natural light.

‘I liked working with the different experts across the Gradconsult team - each member brought a different approach to our curated CPD programme and that kept the team engaged and energised. I loved the flipped aspects of the CPD programme, that encouraged staff to get into the right mindset and be better prepared for making meaningful contributions at the sessions.’
